General

Global WebStores is a marketplace that helps verified vendors launch branded storefronts and helps shoppers find stores they can trust. Instead of a generic listing, each vendor has a dedicated store page and a clearer identity layer around their business.

The platform is built around trust signals, storefront presentation, and commerce workflows designed for fast, real-world buying journeys.

Creating an account and browsing stores is free. Launching a vendor storefront runs on a paid subscription, starting from NGN 3,000/month.

Promotions, advertising boosts, and other paid tools are shown with clear pricing before you activate them, so you always see the cost before any payment.

Global WebStores is built for global participation. Availability can depend on the payment methods, verification providers, and logistics options that are active in your region.

If a specific verification document or payment flow is not supported in your country yet, you can still register and browse, and the platform may request alternative documentation while support expands.

For Vendors

Start by creating an account, then complete onboarding. You'll provide your business details, configure your storefront, and add products so shoppers can browse your catalog.

Once your store is ready, you can publish it and begin using discovery and promotion tools to reach more shoppers.

Verification is strongly recommended because it improves trust and may be required for certain promotion or payment features. Verified vendors typically convert better because shoppers can see stronger identity signals.

If you are not verified yet, you may still be able to set up your store and draft products while you gather documents.

CAC (Corporate Affairs Commission) and NIN (National Identification Number) are Nigeria-specific identity and business registration documents. They help confirm that a vendor is a real business and reduce fraud.

Globally, the same concept applies: the platform may request a business registration certificate or a government-issued ID (or both) depending on your country. Examples of relevant documentation include Certificate of Incorporation, Business Registration Certificate, Companies House registration (UK), EIN + state registration (US), BN (Canada), ABN/ACN (Australia), VAT/GST registration, and beneficial ownership or director details where required.

Verification helps protect shoppers, supports payment compliance, and unlocks stronger trust badges that improve conversion.

In most cases, you can update your store name as your brand evolves. Subdomain changes may be possible but can impact existing links that shoppers have saved or shared.

If you plan to rebrand, it's best to choose a stable subdomain early and treat it like a long-term URL. Contact support if you need help with a migration plan.

Promotions are paid placements that can increase visibility for your products or store. They are designed to help verified vendors reach shoppers who are actively browsing.

Costs can vary based on the promotion type, duration, and available inventory in the placement pool. You should see pricing and expected billing behavior before you launch a campaign.

For Shoppers

Look for clear business information, a consistent storefront identity, and verification indicators where available. A trustworthy store typically has complete product descriptions, pricing clarity, and responsive communication.

If something looks off (missing details, suspicious pricing, inconsistent branding), consider messaging the vendor for confirmation before you place an order.

“Verified” indicates that the vendor has completed additional identity and/or business checks. Verification can include business registration, government ID checks, and other compliance signals, depending on the vendor's country.

Verification improves trust, but you should still review product details and confirm key delivery or return expectations before purchase.

Checkout happens through the store's protected checkout flow. Place the order on the storefront and pay through the platform so your funds stay protected while delivery is confirmed.

Before you pay, review the product page, delivery notes, and total cost. If you have questions, message the vendor for clarification—but keep payment inside checkout for purchase protection tied to delivery.

When payments are processed through supported providers, sensitive payment details are handled by those providers rather than being stored directly on Global WebStores. This reduces exposure and supports industry-standard security practices.

As a shopper, avoid sharing sensitive payment information in messages. Use official payment flows and keep records of confirmations and receipts.

Payments and Promotions

The wallet is used to track balances related to payments, promotions, and campaign charges. It helps vendors understand what has been funded, what is active, and what has been consumed by spend.

When you add funds or launch a campaign, the wallet provides an auditable view of credits and debits associated with your activity.

Individual promotions focus on a specific vendor or campaign with spend that is attributed directly to that vendor's placement and performance goals.

Pooled promotions combine multiple vendors into a shared promotion pool, which can help smaller vendors gain visibility while costs and exposure are managed within the pool's rules.

Vendors are charged according to the billing rules shown when a campaign is created. In many cases, charges are applied when a campaign starts, when budget is allocated, or as spend is consumed over the campaign duration.

If you are unsure about a charge, check the campaign details and wallet activity, then contact support with your vendor email and campaign name.
